Pseudogluteal artery aneurysms are exceptional and may occur secondary to penetrating buttock injury or pelvic trauma. Pseudogluteal artery aneurysms account for less than 1% of all aneurysms and arise within the superior or inferior gluteal artery, which are branches of the internal iliac artery. We present a case of successful embolization of a pseudoaneurysm of the inferior gluteal artery discovered 1 month after a penetrating buttock injury. The postoperative course was uneventful, with complete resolution of pain.
