Recurrent ischemic cerebrovascular disease with recurrent acute ischemia of the left upper limb presenting as acute myeloid leukemia

Acute and recurrent ischemic attacks in multiple vascular territories in acute leukemia are unusual and rare. Only a few cases have been reported. In most of these cases, acute promyelocytic leukemia (type 3) is diagnosed.

Here we report a case of acute myeloid leukemia (type 1) manifested by acute upper limb ischemia with recurrent strokes in a 55-year-old patient.
