Branched aortic endograft placement is increasingly used to treat complex aneurysms of the abdominal aorta involving the visceral and renal arteries. Mechanical forces between the branch and the stent graft can lead to occlusion of one or more branches. In this report, we describe a case of acute renal failure secondary to left renal artery branch occlusion in a solitary kidney patient 4 months after trifurcated stent graft surgery. The authors highlight the successful recanalization and technical details of this procedure.
